We notice today an unusually high level of totals signals (our work compels us to action in five of today's eight contest).

At the same time, we observed significant moves in betting totals for several games. For instance, the Cavs at Raptors betting total sat at 204.5 early this morning, per SportsInsights, before shooting higher to 206. Similarly, the Magic vs. Pistons line was installed at 198.5 but has subsequently dropped by three full points (see here for our recommendations for this contest). We hypothesize that this movement represents activity of well capitalized squares, but time will tell.
The total for the Rockets at the Mavs has also moved meaningfully, from north of 220 to 219, but in this case, we are betting with the line move, rather than against it.
