We were reminded in game 2 that we ARE NOT smarter than the computers. While our decision to play for a middle Tuesday (i.e. bet on the Cubs to win by exactly one run) correctly aligned us with the straight up winner, Chicago's run away victory denied our bid for an Indians' win on the runline. Thus, at the end of the evening, our being half right left with a modest loss, rather than a win.
Today, we are resolved to position in absolute accordance with the numbers. This means backing the Cubs at home, even at a steep vig, and siding with the UNDER.
