Our sim work makes the Cougars just better than a touchdown against the Cowboys this evening. As such we like Wyoming plus better than a touchdown and field goal. Our work also expects a final combined score in the 60s, making the OVER attractive as well.
Wyoming's record in Bowls is 2-1 straight up and against the spread. Further, the Cowboys are 6-1 this year as when receiving points, including a 3-1 run as double-digit underdogs. Wyoming has also covered the last two meetings between these teams.
BYU is 7-8 SU and ATS, and 4-3 when favored to win.
Of note, per SportsInsights, in spite of receiving only 45% of the betting action by volume, BYU's favor has increased from an opening level of 8 points to the present 10.5. This observation hints that sharp money might be coming in on the favorite.
