The Pelicans will have enjoyed four days off when they return to action Tuesday to host the Clippers at Smoothie King Center. We expect the respite will be evident after the final whistle blows tonight; accordingly, we are backing the home favorites to cover.
Historically, teams seeing no action in at least four days have exhibited a slight edge ATS, covering at a 51% clip since 2004 (906-886-23 ATS). However, when such teams are also single-digit favs off two-game cover streaks, backers have cashed in 56% of the time (58-46-1 ATS).
