Charlotte Hornets -2 @ LA Lakers

A solidly profitable program on our roster of BetLabsSports-powered systems likes the Hornets to cover at the Lakers this evening. Betting against underdogs on their home floor in games 72-82 of the NBA regular season has been good for a 10% return on investment (ROI) since 2005, and is 16-10 ATS so far this season. We expect this match-up to add to the profits to this approach, and are content to lay a bucket with the road favs Friday.
Three plays actually fit this bill tonight (Portland, Golden State and Charlotte), but we are keying in on the Hornets, as it is hard to justify fading these Hawks given their lights out run versus the number of late (Atlanta is 13-4 ATS since late-February, including a 3-0 ATS run most recently), and the Warriors are a dismal 7-12 ATS so far over the last third of the season, and 2-4 ATS in their last half dozen at Target Center back to 2015 (though the Dubs are 6-4 ATS in their last ten out, including a 4-1 ATS run on the road).
