Betting on New York and Charlotte turnarounds: NY Knicks +4.5

The Charlotte Hornets are off three straight wins and covers, knocking off the Hawks twice, and the Pelicans in between. In each of these contests, Charlotte took points. Monday, for only the fourth time of the (still young) 2020-21 NBA season, the Hornets will lay chalk, in this case to the Knicks. Charlotte is 0-3 ATS season-to-date from this position. We are betting New York preserve's the Hornet's goose egg versus the number as favorites this afternoon.

The Knicks are coming off a nasty three-game home stand where, after starting off with an underdog win versus the Jazz, they managed only 89 points each in consecutive losses to the Nuggets and Thunder.

Road dogs off underdog non-covers have proven solid bets facing teams off ATS wins. This system has delivered a 7% long-term return on investment, suffered only two losing seasons since 2004, and is 7-3 ATS so far this season.
